We are all stories. I want to live in a world filled with curiosity and kindness. Where everyone shares stories with each other. Where we all belong, and can share space with abundance.
I am an expert at subverting cultural expectations.
I left India at 18 and built my life and community in the US. I chose Cultural Anthropology as my major. I quit my first job without another one lined up because I needed to heal. I married a white man at 24. I quit my corporate career mid-growth to start my own business because I felt I was ready.
I don’t believe in working towards a 10-year plan. It preys on your anxiety, giving you a fake sense of control, and it almost never works out the way you hoped.
I believe in making honest and intentional micro-choices in every moment that center your needs and desires. And allow your path to reveal itself over time. This requires safety, a belief in self, and trust in the universe. It isn’t easy but it has always given me joy, connection, and peace.
My experience and expertise:
-
A Master's in Anthropology from University of Pennsylvania gave me a deep understanding of identity, code-switching, and culture.
-
Mediator and Facilitator certifications taught me how to hold space for depolarization, nuance, and difficult conversations. I continue to teach and facilitate dialogues across differences.
-
8+ years of consulting clients and managing teams taught me the importance of equity, language, and the power of inquiry.
My favorite moments were when I got to set up teams, manage people, and coach executives - asking the right questions and enabling people to find their own answers.
